Dr. Colleen Hoog, DVM, CVA, incorporates food therapy recommendations based on each patient’s individual constitution, health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals. Recommendations may include guidance on commercial diets, home-prepared meals, supplements, and integrative nutrition strategies to help support optimal health and quality of life.

For home-prepared diets, Dr. Hoog uses nutrition-balancing software to help formulate meals that are as complete and balanced as possible. Because every patient is different, nutritional plans are carefully individualized and adjusted based on your pet’s specific needs.

While Dr. Hoog is not board certified in veterinary nutrition, she has additional training and experience in integrative care and nutritional support. In medically complex cases or when advanced nutritional management is needed, she may recommend collaboration with or referral to a board-certified veterinary nutritionist to ensure your pet receives the highest level of care.
